Doris E. Glick, 97, of Hillsboro, formerly of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully Monday, April 27, 2015 at Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born June 18, 1917, in Huntsville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul and Mable (Mustaine) Cretcher.

She was a member of the Taylors Chapel United Methodist Church in Mt. Orab. She worked for Higgins Construction Co. for over 20 years.

She is survived by seven children, Valeda Ann Puckett, of Williamsburg, Virginia Eileen McCann (Joe Harrison) of Leesburg, James Edward Glick (Carla) of Centerville, Patricia Carol Johnson (Richard) of Myakka City, Fla., Robert Eugene Glick (Beverly Brunswick) of Youngstown, Connie Sue Carman (Bobby Harbottle) of Lynchburg and William Howard Glick (Vickie) of Lakeland, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Joseph Cretcher of South Carolina, Lawrence Richard Cretcher (Agnes) and Fuller McClain Cretcher (Dorothy), both of Kansas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Glick, on March 12, 1979; a granddaughter, Debbie Puckett; a great-grandson, Trey Parker; a sister, Adria Ellen Adams; a brother, Donald Burton Cretcher; three sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Cretcher, Treva Cretcher and Dody Cretcher; a brother-in-law Frank Adams; and a son-in-law, Harvey “Buck” Puckett.

In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated. Graveside funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 1 at the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio.
