Donna Sue Long, 69, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 at home in Greenfield.  
 
She was born Nov. 15, 1955, in Greenfield, the daughter of Donald and Patsy (Carter) Greene.
 
Donna was a 1973 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and a 1977 graduate of Georgetown College.
 
She retired in 2009 from Edward Lee McClain High School as a school staff member.
 
She is survived by her husband, Gregory L. Long, whom she married on Oct. 10, 1977; one daughter, Heather (Lee) Walker of Greenfield; one son, Brandon M. (Tia) Long of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Micah, Maddox, Coraleena, Adelaide and Synnove; two sisters, Glenna (Bill) Rowe of Greenfield and Lori Huston of Chillicothe; brother-in-law, Greg Barr of Greenfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and the Longs and Springers of Alabama and California.
 
She was preceded in death by one sister, Karen J. Barr; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jeff Barnhart officiating. Cremation will follow.
 
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to the choice of the donor.
