Donna Rachel Risley, 79, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday evening, June 21, 2016 at the Miami Valley Hospital.
She was born May 25, 1937, in Pedro, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hugh and Sarah (Markle) Hutchison.
She is survived by five children, Martha Risley and Linda Risley, both of Springfield, Judy Griffith of Hillsboro, Patti (Duane) Taylor of Goshen and John Risley, Jr. of Florida; five grandchildren, Sam Risley, Emily Wisecup, Evan Risley, Grant Wisecup and Vanessa Taylor; a great-grandchild, Jordan Current; and her three “little friends,” Scooter, Rocky and Daisy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John E. Risley, Sr., on July 17, 2013; a grandson, Steven Risley; five brothers, Ernie, Oakley, Leslie, Curtis and Clarence Hutchison; and two sisters, Stella Tibbs and Teresa Brunick.
Funeral services for Donna will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Minister Kim Boyer will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
