Donna N. Marconette, 95, of Sugartree Ridge, passed away early Thursday morning, June 15, 2017 at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center in Seaman.
She was born Aug. 20, 1921 in Washington Court House, the daughter of the late Earl and Nellie Miller Noble.
Donna was a member of the Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ and Eastern Star #144. She graduated from McClain High School and from Muskingum University. Donna taught first and second grade at different schools, and she taught piano and accordion. She was an organist for 10 years. Donna was an avid traveler, having traveled to all 50 states, Bermuda and Canada.
On June 11, 1964, she married Russell Marconette, who passed away on Dec. 11, 2013.
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Evelyn Mox; five nephews; three nieces; and many friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by a brother, Loren Dean Noble; sister, Lorene Noble Yankee; and a nephew, Ronald Noble Yankee.
Graveside services will be held at Sugartree Ridge Cemetery, Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Dan Knisley officiating.
Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
