Donald R. Gossett, 90, of Hillsboro died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014 in Hilliard, Ohio.

He was born Feb. 29, 1924 in Pricetown, the son of the late Dwight and Lena Hess Gossett.

Mr. Gossett was a lifelong farmer. He was also a lifelong member of the Pricetown Church of Christ and had served on the board of directors for the Home Builders Association and Southern Hills Community Bank for over 30 years.

He is survived by three children; Daniel Dwight (Wanda) Gossett of Xenia, Kenneth Joe Gossett of Hillsboro and Sheila (John) Gossett-Botti of Columbus; five grandchildren, Tracy (Jim) Stadler of Beavercreek, Kelly (Daryn) Boyer of Wake Forest, N.C., Jenny (Christian) Penrod of Richmond, Ind., Trevor Gossett Botti and Andrew Gossett Botti of Columbus; 10 great grandchildren, Kayla, Matthew and Sara Boyer, Rachel, Naomi and Hannah Stadler; Elli, Addi, Anderson and Sadie Penrod.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Eileen Gossett on Jan. 22, 2010, two brothers, Norris and Robert Gossett and daughter-in-law, Gayle Hutchins-Gossett.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Daryl Mount and Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Pricetown Church of Christ.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pricetown Church of Christ Food Pantry, 2070 S.R. 131, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
