Donald Delano Secrest, 88, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Ohio Living Point Pleasant in Monroe.
He was born April 8, 1933 in Sabina, the son of the late Ernest and Dixie (Funk) Secrest.
Don retired as a maintenance engineer for Wilmington City Schools.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Edith Secrest; daughter, Beverly Jordan of Blanchester; son, Donald R. Secrest of Wilmington; granddaughter, Rachel Dawn (Christopher) Duncan of Jamestown; great-grandchildren, Braeden and Brooklyn Duncan; and his sister, Peggy Ross.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his four sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, June 18, 2021 at noon at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Mike McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Sabina Cemetery.
Friends will be received from Friday from 11 a.m.-noon at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington.
