Diane Lynn Moore, 69, passed away Jan. 2, 2022 at Clinton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born Aug. 14, 1952 in Hamilton to Robert and Gladys (Gabbard) McWhorter.

Diane was a 1970 graduate of Taft High School in Hamilton. On Nov. 3, 1972, she was united in marriage to David Moore. She held various administrative jobs, including Liberty Centre, AAA Cooper and ABX Air. She was actively attending Wilmington Assembly of God, where she participated in Joy Fellowship Bible study. Diane also loved participating in Bible Study Fellowship at Fairhaven in Centerville. For several years, she belonged to both Bella Acapella and Joyful Noise Dulcimer groups.
 
Diane’s hobbies included playing the fiddle, reading, scrapbooking and painting, and she greatly enjoyed being a part of Octo Reah Scrabble club. She and Dave loved to travel and spend their winters in Florida. 

Surviving are her husband, David Moore; daughters, Christy Moore, Cheri (David) Graham and Melissa (Eric) Abrams; grandchildren, Ethan, Connor, Allison, Aidan and Rachel; sister, Robin (Mike) Terry, and brother, Phil (Kim) McWhorter; and many nieces and nephews. 

Diane was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Jan. 12, 2022 at noon at Wilmington Assembly of God, 609 W. Locust St., Wilmington, with Rev. John Wirmel officiating. Friends will be received at Wilmington Assembly of God prior to the services from 11 a.m. to noon.

Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is serving the family.
