Dennis Gene McCall

Dennis Gene McCall, 48, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia. 

He was born Jan. 26, 1976 in Georgetown.

He will be truly missed by his friends at Pine Ridge/Pine Village, StepUp Caregivers, and RDS on Tollgate Road; roommates Ricardo, Terry and Kenny.

Surviving are his parents, William R. and  Brenda K. (NeeMcCall) Block Jr. of Hillsboro; a sister, Jennifer (Tony) Tyree; and a brother, William R. (Crystal) Block, III. He was a loving uncle to John McFarland, Mike McFarland, Gracie (Sebastion Howard) Tyree, Little Tony Tyree, Hayden Tyree, Aubrey Holley and Harlynn Block. He was looking forward to being a great uncle to Gabriella in February. Also surviving are Aunt, Bea McCall, uncle, Gary (Lisa) McCall, uncle, Rodney Hall, Aunt, Betty McCall, Aunt, Carol Phillips and lots of cousins.

Denny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Albert McCall and Mr. & Mrs. William Block Sr.; an aunt, Althea Hall; uncle, Allan R. McCall; and other aunts and uncles.

A celebration of Denny's life will be held Saturday, Jan. 18 from 1-4 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. at the Pike Township Community Center, 12700 S. R. 774 Bethel. Pastor Carrie McCall will officiate.
