Deloris M. Yankey, 81, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, at The Laurels of Hillsboro, with her family by her side.

She was born on July 29, 1939, in Elk Ridge, W.Va., the daughter of the late Basil M. and Geneva (Embree) Keeney.

Deloris worked at Rotary Forms Press for 15 years as a master printer. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel CCCU in Winchester, and she attended the New Life Ministries in Hillsboro. She enjoyed being outdoors, listening to music, and she loved animals, especially her cat, Stella.

Deloris is survived by four siblings, Janet L. Mullins, Phyllis A. (Paul) Scott, Virginia S. (Jim) Hamric and Basil (Adele) Keeney Jr.; four children, Herman (Sheila) Richardson, Shelly Yankey, Donald Yankey Jr. and Tina Yankey; her prior husband and friend, Donald Yankey; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gregory A. Richardson; and a sister, Alice Keeney.
