Della Lou Trimble, 87, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday evening, July 15, 2020 at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital in Washington Court House.
She was born Feb. 1, 1933 in Lenox, Ky., the daughter of the late Ira Arthur and Rissie (Keeton) Barker. She was the sixth of 12 children.
On March 1, 1950 in Lenox, Ky., she married Ray Trimble, who passed away in 1997.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Fred) Thompson of Hillsboro and Vicky (Danny) Shaffer of Lynchburg; sons, Danny (Becky) Trimble of Fort Worth, Texas, Phillip (Geneva) Trimble of New Vienna and Timothy (Kathy) Trimble of Lynchburg; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Cecil Barker of West Liberty, Ky.; and sister, Alice Smith of West Liberty, Ky.
In addition to her parents and husband, Della was preceded in death by four sisters; five brothers; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with son-in-law Rev. Danny Shaffer officiating. Interment will be at the family's convenience in the Westboro Cemetery, Westboro, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, July 18 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington.
