Deborah Sue Corcoran, 72, of Grand Portage, Minn., passed away Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022 at the home of her daughter.
She was born July 16, 1949, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Henry Edward and Lorna Rosemarie (Napier) Ursell.
Deborah was a 1967 graduate of Fairfield High School and member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Grand Portage for many years. She retired from Grand Portage Lodge after 28 years of employment, retiring as lodge manager.
She is survived by her husband, James Parrett Corcoran, whom she married June 25, 1971; one daughter, Amy (Daniel) Hamnes of Duluth, Minn.; two beloved granddaughters, Sydney and Mia; three sisters, Jennie Gephart (Barry St. John) of Bainbridge, Dianna Williamson of Leesburg and Lisa (O.G.) Lewis of Hillsboro; one brother, Jeff (Mindy) Ursell of Highland; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by one nephew, Allen Ursell; and both parents.
Private funeral service will be at the convenience of the family at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor John Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
