David Lee Knisley, 44, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 5, 1976, in Fayette County, the son of William Pettiford and Cheryl Ann Knisley.

David would light up a room when entering and was an avid golfer and Carolina Panthers fan. He was employed at Corvac of Greenfield.

He is survived by his significant other of 23 years, Windy Brown; one son, Drayden R. (Maddie) Brown-Knisley of Greenfield; two daughters, Samarah Knisley and Kryste Ellis, both of Greenfield; one stepson, Donavon Knisley of Greenfield; four grandchildren; one brother, Billy (Tracey) Knisley of Chillicothe; one sister, Tyra Ann (T.J.) Morris of Greenfield; nieces and nephews, Trey, Corey, Caelyn, Tyrell, Kegan, Courtney and Little Trey; father, William Pettiford (Kimberly Runyon) of Hillsboro; and mother, Cheryl Howland of Greenfield.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Jessie Pettiford.

Funeral service will be Thursday, May 20 at 2 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
