David Henderson

David Henderson, 81, of Lake Waynoka, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at his home. 
 
He was born Oct. 5, 1941 in Lynchburg, Va., the son of the late Croswell and Sarah Elizabeth (Moon) Henderson.
 
David was a member of the Sardinia United Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fly fish, garden, camp and play ping pong.
 
Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Beverly Henderson, whom he married June 18, 1966; two sisters, Nancy Chafee and Betsey Howlett; two brothers-in-law, Ron (Zanda) O’Banion and Ray O’Banion; and many nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Phyllis O’Banion.
 
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Sardinia United Methodist Church, 105 S. Main St., Sardinia, with Rev. James Schroeder officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Withamsville.
 
Friends will be received Friday from 10:30-11 a.m. at the church.
