David B. Willett

David B. Willett, 56, of Portsmouth, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 at Southern Ohio Medical Center of Portsmouth from a heart condition.  
 
He was born March 4, 1968 in Greenfield, the son of Charles and Judy (Jenkins) Willett.
 
He had completed recovery and was doing well. He was currently employed at Bellisio Foods in Jackson.
 
He is survived by one sister, Amy Willett of Greenfield; three brothers, Charles Douglas (Christine) Jenkins of Greenfield, Steven “Piggy” Willett of Greenfield and John Preston (Kelly) Willett of Greenfield; one half-sister, Julie Willett of Greenfield; one half-brother, Dana Willett of Greenfield; numerous nieces and nephews including special nephew, Keenan Willett of Greenfield; and a cousin, Shannon Hager of Greenfield.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Willett; one nephew, Michael Jenkins; and both parents.
 
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 at the McClain High Schoolcafetorium, 200 N. Fifth Street, Greenfield, with the Rev. Richard Martin Jr. officiating. Food and fellowship to follow.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with expenses at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
