Daryl L. Igo, 64, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022.

He was born in Wilmington on Jan. 25, 1958, the son of the late Roger and Esther (Bowman) Igo.

Daryl enjoyed woodworking and fishing.

Daryl is survived by the mother of his children, Kathy Pierson of Hillsboro; a son, Benjamen (Sierra) Igo of Hillsboro; a daughter, April (Troy) Main of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Augusta and Autumn Igo and Noah and Abigail Main; a brother, Donald Igo of Hillsboro; sisters, Sharon (Greg) Purvis of Leesburg and Linda (Steve) Smith of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the New Market Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
