Danita Ann Nicholson, 58, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 29, 2018 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born Oct. 6, 1960 in Oak Hill, the daughter of the late Danny Roger and Judith Ann (Bartram) Browning.
She is survived by her husband John E. Nicholson, whom she married July 14, 1995 in Mesa, Ariz.; three children, Andrew Clint Franklin, Alex Dustin Franklin and Ashley Danielle (Joshua Runnels) Franklin, all of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Victoria Hegge of Arizona, Kenneth L.T. Miller of Piketon and Kayden Vaughn Edenfield, Kendall May Franklin and Kylie Jo Runnels, all of Hillsboro; a sister, Roberta Sue Browning of McArthur; and two brothers, Jimmy Browning of Jackson and Danny Browning, Jr. of North Carolina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Aaron David Franklin, on Sept. 25, 2016. A funeral service for Danita will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at the Community of Christ Church, 270 Orange Street, Jackson. Elder Cheryl Browning will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
