Daniel Peter Kuhn

Daniel Peter Kuhn, 41, of Hillsboro community, passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Bethesda North Hospital on Wednesday, April 26.

He was born in Wilmington and lived in the community of Pricetown for the first 24 years of his life. He attended the Pricetown Church of Christ, and being the special child he was, he was much loved by all who knew him.

He attended the Hills & Dales Training Center and after graduating, Daniel was enrolled in the High-Co work program. He made many, many friends through that experience and was involved in the “Special Olympics,” receiving many medals in track and field programs. Daniel moved to the Hillsboro area in 2005 but continued his association with High-Co until health conditions required his retirement from that program. He continued his church fellowship with the Marshall Church of Christ. He loved to listen to his huge CD collection of church hymns and especially Christmas music year-round. Daniel’s outgoing, loving spirit touched many lives, and he will truly be missed.

He is survived by his father and mother, Leo and Mildred Kuhn; sister, Kristeen (Arnold) Pennington of Pricetown; brother, Glenn (Tracy) Kuhn; nephews, Javan (Elizabeth) Kuhn, Elam (Anna) Kuhn and Zimri Kuhn; niece, Lael Kuhn; also, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Funeral services will take place following visitation on Monday May 1 at 1 p.m. at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Burial will follow services in the Barker Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pricetown Church of Christ, 2070 S.R. 131, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or to the Marshall Church of Christ, 10611 S.R. 124, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
