Daniel K. Preston, 74, of Washington C.H., passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021 at home.
He was born March 2, 1947, in Washington C.H., the son of William Virgil and Lorene Frances (Beverly) Preston.
Daniel was a graduate at Washington High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam War. He was a self-employed plumber and electrician.
He is survived by two daughters, Lizabeth Preston of Highland, Alex Preston of Washington C.H.; one son, Will Preston of Washington C.H.; one granddaughter, Solaire Rickett; four brothers, Phillip Preston, Paul Preston, Patrick Preston, Michael (Shirley) Preston; one sister, Jacqueline Preston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dano Preston; one sister Harriet Rose Henry; and both parents.
Funeral service will be noon Thursday, Sept. 2 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery with military rites provided by the Concerned Veterans of Greenfield.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, at the funeral home.
