Cynthia "Cindy" Jordan, 62, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023 at her home.
She was born Aug. 27, 1960 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Hules and Marie (Knapp) Jordan.
Cindy had a remarkable love for her dogs, around whom her life revolved. They were her pride and joy.
She had a profound appreciation for the ocean and the beach, and she was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Cindy was an exceptional respiratory therapist for over 30 years.
Surviving are a brother, Kenneth Jordan of Cincinnati, a brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Fifi Jordan of Camden, S.C.; a nephew, Christopher Jordan; and a niece, Taylor Jordan. Cindy was especially proud of her niece and nephew, whom she adored. She is also survived by her dear Aunt Ruth and by many beloved friends, neighbors and coworkers.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marie (Knapp) and Hules Jordan.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington.
