Colon E. 'Bud' Beatty

Colon E. “Bud” Beatty, 84, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
 
He was born June 22, 1938 in Greenfield, the son of Carey and Roxie (Radcliff) Beatty.
 
He retired in 2001 from Kokosing Construction, where he was a carpenter.
 
He is survived by three daughters, Kathy Beatty of Washington C.H., Colleen (Marty) Raypole of Bainbridge and Nikki (Phil) Burrell of Tennessee; one son, Danny (Mary) Cisco of Sabina; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Daugherty of Greenfield and Grace Iseman of South Salem; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean (Bevill) Beatty, on July 25, 2019; one son, Danny Beatty; one daughter, Lisa Carter; two brothers, Bob Hudnell and Jim Beatty; one sister, Lorena Beechler; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Thomas Hudnell officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
