Clarence "Shaw" Parsons Hutchison

Clarence “Shaw” Parsons Hutchison, 81, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 from heart failure at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born Nov. 16, 1934 in Ironton, the son of the late Hugh and Sarah (Markell) Hutchison.
Shaw loved to go camping, fishing and telling yarns to his family and friends. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by his spouse, Dorothy (Gibbs) Hutchison; four children, Cynthia (Daryl) Voegli of Argyle, Wis., Cathryne (Terry) Ahrens of Elk Grove, Calif., Barbara Krause of Winnebago, Ill. and Charles “Chuck” Hutchison of Panama City, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Donna Risley of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews and a close family friend, Donna J. Robinson of Hillsboro.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving first wife, Louise Mae (Ryckmen) Hutchison on July 5, 2002; and six siblings, Curtis, Ernie, Theresa, Stella, Oakley “Doc” Hutchison and Leslie “Toke” Hutchison.
Visitation will be 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow visitation at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Mark Smith, Cornerstone Assemblies of God, will be officiating.
Burial will follow services in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery, 11628-11636 Butler Road, Hillsboro, Highland County (between Township Hwy 191/Walnut Shade Road and Groom Lane).
