Cinda Ann Knisley

Cinda Ann Knisley, 58, of Russell Station, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024 at Highland District Hospital.

She was born Nov. 13, 1966 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late David Harold Knisley and Patty Anne (McClain) Knisley.

Cinda loved to go camping. She also enjoyed woodworking, watching derbies, rodeos and bull riding. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Derek (Destinée) Holt of Hillsboro, Douglas (Cynthia) Holt Jr. of Blanchester and Danielle Knisley of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Jensen Johnson, Dustin Knisley, Joshlynn Knisley, Dixie Holt, Douglas “JJ” Holt Jr. and Nova Holt; siblings, David “Buzz” (Mary Ann) Knisley and Nicole (Zack) Knisley-Noe; nieces and nephews, Devon Knisley, Brooklyn Anteck and Talon Knisley; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and adopted kids and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Holt; many unmet grandchildren; nephew, DJ Knisley; and beloved dogs, Taco, Mudflap and Monster Mutt.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Turner & Son Funeral Home. Please think of a memory or story of Cinda that you could share during a time of sharing beginning at 7 p.m. An opportunity to write a memory will also be provided and will be given to her grandchildren.
