Christine Richardson Henry, 84, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 14, 2018.
She was born July 27, 1934 in Sand Hill, Ky., the daughter of the late Elmer and Angie (Garrett) Richardson.
Christine was a kind, generous and beautiful spirit. She was an avid gardener, dog lover and an amazing cook. She was selfless, giving herself lovingly and devoted to her husband and family. A loving wife, caring mother and fun grandmother, she was always there with a big hug and warm smile. Her arms and her heart were always open. She was wonderful in every way a person could possibly be. Those who knew her will forever be blessed with the time spent with her. She will be missed immensely.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Harold L. Henry. The two were married Oct. 27, 1951.
She is also survived by three children, Sharon Thompson of Bainbridge, Bob Henry of New Vienna and Luann Henry of Lynchburg; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; four brothers, Walt (Rose) Richardson, Dean Richardson, Kenny (Helen) Richardson and Phil (Ruth Ann) Richardson; three sisters, Louetta Doan, Glenna (Larry) Doctor and Vicki (Elmer) Williams; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
