Charles Alfred Williams Jr., 62, of South Salem, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, following a brief illness.
 
He was born Dec. 11, 1959 in Greenfield, the son of Charles Alfred and Linda Lou (Hakes) Williams.
 
Charlie was a member of the F.O.E. #1325, VFW Post 4736 and the Greenfield Church of Christ. After retirement from Ferno of Wilmington, you could often find him pulling tickets at the Eagles. He was an all-around good guy and never said no to the request of anyone he loved.
 
He is survived by three children, including special son, C.J. Williams of Frankfort, Ethan Williams of Felicity and Eden Williams of Felicity; four stepchildren, Brian Piatt of Greenfield, Ceara Boyd of Greenfield, Cherokee (John) Brickles of Indiana and Teeka Jenkins of Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Sandy (Bruce) Myers of Greenfield; one brother, Steve (Jan) Williams of Coshocton; numerous nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Amber Beavers and Temperance Beavers of Greenfield; many friends, including special friend, Scott Bentley (Sunday Landrum) of Greenfield; and his beloved dog, Star.
 
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Annette Williams; second wife, Angela Dawn Williams; one brother, Mark “Andrew” Williams; two stepsisters, Debbie Lampkin and Betty Nace; special nephew, Adam Myers; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Greenfield Eagles, 1275 N Washington Street, with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Eagles.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
