Carol Williams, 83 of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at Highland District Hospital.
She was born April 12, 1939 in Lynchburg.
She was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Williams of Wilmington; a brother, Robert (Joyce) Kestler of Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, Shelby Kestler of Wilmington; two special daughters, Pam Turner of Lynchburg and Dee Dee Harless of Hillsboro; a special granddaughter, Taylor Turner; one niece; one great-niece; two great-nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert Lee Williams, on Feb. 28, 2006; her mother, Frances Brown; her grandparents who raised her, Albert and Della (Burton) Brown; and a brother, John Kestler.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 28 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Bob Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow in the Troutwine Cemetery. Friends may call from noon-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
