Carol Anne Palmer

Carol Anne Palmer, 75, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Oct. 21, 2024 at home.
 
She was born Oct. 31, 1948 in Springfield, the daughter of Howard and Mary (Hayslip) Pauley.
 
She was a member of the VFW Post 4736 of Greenfield and retired from Huhtamaki Inc. of New Vienna.
 
She is survived by one brother, David (Betty) Howland of Greenfield; one sister, Pam Merritt of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry R. Palmer, on June 27, 2005; two brothers, James Pauley and Howard Michael Pauley; two sisters, Terri Rae Lyons and Sherri Kay Anderson; three nieces, Ashlei Anne Howland, Brandi Jo Ellars and Misty Dawn Pryor; two nephews, Troy David Merritt and Chad Michael Pauley; one great-nephew, Paul Elliott Jr.; special friend, Sheryl Dennis; both parents; and her Yorkshire Terrier, Cassi.  
 
Graveside service will be Friday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. at the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
