Carla Michael Gall, 69, of Berrysville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her home.
Carla worked at Time Warner Cable for 23 years and South Central Power for seven years. Everyone who worked with her loved her. She always brought in homemade treats, as she loved the people she worked with.
She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary at the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge as well as the Amvets Post #61 Auxiliary. You could always find her at the Amvets on Thursday nights for bingo. Carla was also a graduate of Whiteoak High School, class of 1970.
She is survived by her husband and best friend Vic. They were married Sept. 27, 1986 but have been friends since childhood. Also surviving are her daughters, Amy Kehrer (Tommy) and Jennifer Cumberland, and son Jason Gall (Shelly); her four grandchildren, Mason Kehrer, Cole Cumberland and Hailey and Erin Rhonemus; her siblings, Bill Michael, Donna Shelton (Jerry), Debi Hauke and John Michael (Diane); and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Michael.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Loree Michael; and her brother, Richard Michael.
A memorial service will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 W. Main St., Hillsboro with Pastor Duane Newton officiating. Visitation will be Monday from noon - 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Following the services at the funeral home, a celebration of Carla's life will be held at 4 p.m. at the Amvets Post #61, 11541 North Shore Drive, Hillsboro.
