Carl Dean Richardson

Carl Dean Richardson, 85, of Blanchester, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Hospice of Cincinnati- Anderson.
 
He was born May 29, 1937 in Irvine, Ky., the son of the late Elmer and Angie (Garrett) Richardson.

Dean had a love of cars and had worked as a car hauling trucker and had worked at GE in North Carolina.
 
Surviving are his children, Dee (Jeff) Rein of Sabina, Duane Richardson of Fairfax, Va. and Carla Richardson; his partner, Cathy Ball of Blanchester; stepchildren, Michelle Miars, Jeff Ball and Jennifer Ellis; grandchildren, Ace Mann, Brittany Kessler, Chase Richardson, Laci Richardson and Katilyn Ewing; great-grandchildren, Jaycee Smithson, CeeJay Smithson, Brealyn Jackson, Faith Kessler, Chase Mann, Wyatt Kessler and Adalynn Richardson; brothers, Phil and Kenny Richardson; sisters, Glenna Docter, Louetta Doan and Vicki Williams; and many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chasity Rein; stepson, Ron Ball; brothers, Donald and Waldo Richardson; and sister, Christine Harold.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, April 21, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 421 East Vine Street at Prairie Avenue. You may  bring a covered dish and a special fond memory or story to share with the family. Your presence is most important.   
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
