Bunia Suzette (Suzie) Crocetta, 75, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at home, surrounded by family.
She was born March 26, 1946 in Fayette County, the daughter of Kermit and Betty (Pauley) Beedy.
Suzie had retired from Kmart in Washington Court House. Her hobbies included sewing, watching old movies and the Hallmark Channel. She was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and loved caring for her many grandchildren throughout her life. She was known as “Mammy” to all of them.
She is survived by her longtime companion, William Lankford; brothers, Terry (Carey) Beedy and Donald (Mel) Beedy; sister, Iris Beedy; her sons, James Dale Hodge (Shawna Helton), Jerry Dale Hodge and Anthony Michael Crocetta (Tammy Hawkins Crocetta); grandchildren, Ashley Jordan Pryor, Sydney Hodge, Kenny (Kimmy) Lower, Sarah (Storm) Ratliff, Hannah Hodge, Layne Crocetta, Jessica (Ryan) Hawkins, Geri Hawkins and Robert Hawkins; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Susie/“Mammy” will be sadly missed by family members and close friends.
Suzie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ronald Beedy; and grandson, JD Hodge.
