Brittany Michele Edwards, 13, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, Feb. 5, 2024 at home.
 
She was born June 2, 2010 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Jesse Aaron Edwards and Ashley Nichole Ward.
 
Brittany was a seventh grade student at Hillsboro Middle School.
 
She was a loving ray of sunshine and enjoyed going to church, rocking, swinging and eating cake and ice cream.
 
She is survived by her father, Jesse Edwards (Sharon Cox) of Hillsboro; mother, Ashley Ward (Thomas Williams) of Hillsboro; four sisters, Kassandra, Selena, Daisy and Faith; four uncles, Scott Edwards (Frankie Jones), Matthew Jarrells, Brandon Gibson and Richard Rowe Jr.; two aunts, Angela (Brandon) Fulkerson and Crystal Rowe; many cousins; grandparents, Jerry and Ann Edwards Jr. and Rick and Sherry Rowe; great-grandparents, Jerry and Dorothy Edwards Sr. and Doris Shupert; and great-grandmother, Linda Foster.
 
Funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Leesburg Wesleyan Church with Pastor Jerry Edwards, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with expenses at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
