Bradford Naylor Jr., 90, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Salyer Group Home in Hillsboro.

He was born the son of the late Bradford Naylor Sr. and Grace (Parks) Naylor in Norwood on June 11, 1927.

Bradford proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He worked at the family store, Naylor’s Furniture, in Wilmington for many years. He was a very active member of the New Vienna Church of Christ, where he taught Sunday school, and was always working on a project.

He is survived by three children, Jill (Robert) Yust of Cincinnati, Denise (Richard) Bryan of Lynchburg and Greg Naylor of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Rachel Bryan Makuley and Austin Yust; six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Christian, Grace and Liam Bryan and Quinn and Caden Makuley; three brothers, Robert (Ethel) Naylor of Lynchburg, John (Kay) Naylor of Lynchburg and Jim Naylor of Wilmington; 11 nephews; four nieces; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Cooper of California and Mary Ann Thornton of Cincinnati.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Naylor; grandson, Joshua Bryan; brother, Billy Naylor; sisters-in-law, Shirley and Roberta Naylor; and brothers-in-law, Richard Cooper and Charles Thornton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the New Vienna Church of Christ at 11 a.m. Burial will follow, with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard at Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
