Beulah Jane Wells, 92, of Woodstock, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in her home.
Beulah was born Dec. 9, 1929 in Rainsboro.
Beulah was a 1947 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. Beulah retired from the Marysville Women's Reformatory after 30 years of service. She was a member of Woodstock Free Will Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Xenia Old Timers Club. Beulah loved reading, singing and playing the piano and most of all loved her family and friends.
Beulah is survived by her children, Charles Crusie, David (Cathy) Crusie, Thomas (Mary) Crusie and Mark (Judy) Crusie; her grandchildren, Chad (Lulu) Crusie, Amy Lynn (Win) Crusie Jones, Curtis Speelman, Michelle (Chad) Self, Tina (Monte) Miller, Carlotte (Steve) Garringer, Melissa (Pete) Fink, Kim (Mike) Marcum and Jessica Crusie; her stepdaughters, Ellen (Kenny) Cordell and Ila Jean (Roderick) Yocum; stepdaughter-in-law, Christina Wells; stepson-in-law, Douglas Hostetler; sister, Betty Swearingen; as well as several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Inez (Washburn) Jenkins; husband, Edwin Wells; sisters, Mary Jenkins, Mildred Hudson and Anna Jenkins; brothers, Harold Jenkins, Charles Jenkins and Homer Jenkins; stepdaughters, Teddy Sawyer, Ann Hostetler and Helen Combs; and stepson Eddie Wells.
Graveside services will be held later in Beaver Cemetery, Paint Township, Highland County.
Arrangements are entrusted to Freshwater, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, Ohio.
