Bettye Lou Coomer, 85, of Hillsboro, passed Friday, July 5, 2019.
Bettye was born April 15, 1934 in Whitley City, Ky., the daughter of the late Corbett and Nora (King) Foster.
Besides her parents, Bettye was preceded in death by one granddaughter; two brothers, Kenneth Roger Foster and Robert Foster; and two sisters, Irene King and Pauline Anderson.
Bettye was a member of the Highland County Senior Citizens.
Bettye is survived by her husband, Otis Coomer; two sons, Victor A. Coomer of Blanchester and Steven O. (Brenda) Coomer of Springdale; one daughter; Lisa (Dan) Beach of Blanchester; six grandchildren, Jesse Spowal, Jordan Coomer, Joel Coomer, Kevin Cornwell and Danialle Horner; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Janice Foster of Nokomis, Ill. and Wilda Foster of Knoxville, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
No services will be observed.
The Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
