Barbara A. Tolle, 86, formerly of Mowrystown, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022 at Crestwood Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hillsboro.
She was born Jan. 12, 1936 in Bainbridge, the daughter of the late Isaac and Sylvia (Fletcher) Nichols.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Harold (Missy) Tolle, Beverly (Den) Lamphier, Teresa (Mike) Clark, Dena (Mark) Van Den Berg, Urlic “Jr.” (April) Tolle, Robert (Lisa) Tolle and Daniel Nichols; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Howard and Peggy Woodrum.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Carl, Isaac, Kenneth, Clarence and Roscoe Nichols; and four sisters, Dorothy Nichols, Dora Baker, Phyllis Nichols and Ida Mae Nichols.
A graveside service will be Monday, Feb. 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Mowrystown Cemetery. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
