Anthony Howard Suttles, 61, passed away after battling cancer in the home of Tiffanie and Rob Herrmann in Texas.

He was a graduate of Clinton-Massie, class of 1979. He was well known for his storytelling and jokes but also would give you a deep conversation that could last for hours, and he was loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his brother, Stephen Suttles, and sister Julia (Suttles) Jones; two sons, Kris and Nick Bauman; one niece Danielle (MIke) Grubb; three nephews, Shane Suttles, Derek Jones and Jared (Kirsten) Jones; and the loving family of Tiffanie (who called him Dad) and Rob Hermmann and their six children.

He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Suttles; mother, Judith (George) Suttles; and a brother, Timothy Jay Suttles.

There will be a celebration of life at the VFW in Wilmington on Jan. 8, 2023 from 2-5 p.m.

The Edgington Funeral Home is serving the family.
