Ann Geraldine Cronin Taylor

Ann Geraldine Cronin Taylor, 85, of Hillsboro, loving mother of three and grandmother of twelve, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, March 15, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton after a brief illness.
She was born on Oct. 30, 1928, in St. Martin, the daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Minzler) Cronin.
She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church. Geraldine was well-known around Hillsboro and touched many lives while she worked for over 20 years in the Hillsboro High School cafeteria.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Ann Taylor Neuberger (Doug) of Warrenton, Va. and Angela Marie Taylor Miller (Toren) of Ashland, Va.; a son, Jerry B. Taylor, Jr. of Hillsboro; and her twin sister, Angela Pauline Bowles, or “Auntie” as she is known by the family, of Florence, Ky. Geraldine and Auntie were extremely close and shared a bond only twins can have. They were best friends as well as sisters. Their differences were a common source of joking in the family.
Her grandchildren were the pride of her life: Miranda Marie Neuberger Storer (David) of Siloam Springs, Ark.; Jessa Marie Miller Brown (Jon) of Stuttgart, Germany; Zachary Miller (Martha) of Alexandria, Va.; Colin Miller of Washington, N.C.; Evan Miller, Natalie Miller, Gabriel Miller and Cameron Miller of Ashland, Va.; Rachelle Taylor of Florence, Ky.; and Katie Macintosh, Kayla Taylor and Jackson Taylor of Hillsboro; and great-grandchildren, Madelyn Marie Brown, Olivia Ann Brown and Henry Gabriel Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her one true love in life, Jerry B., Taylor, Sr., on Nov. 26, 1982; an infant daughter, Janet Lee; five brothers, Andrew, Clarence, Eugene, Robert and Charles Jr. Cronin; and one sister, Marie Orebaugh.
