Andrea Lynn Williamson
Andrea Lynn Williamson, 59, passed away Aug. 26, 2024.
She was born Feb. 2, 1965 in Wilmington, a cherished daughter to the late Charles Boatman and Wanda Shaw of Hillsboro.
She was a beloved ER nurse at Clinton Memorial Hospital and a dedicated member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #1161 in Hillsboro. Throughout her life, Andrea found joy in the simple pleasures — a beautiful garden, canning food, and the magic of music. Her green thumb and love for nature brought beauty to the community, and her canned goods brought warmth to many homes. Her lively spirit and infectious laughter will be dearly missed.
Andrea dedicated her career to serving others as an RN, touching countless lives along the way with her kindness and selflessness. She leaves behind a legacy of care, compassion and unwavering dedication to her patients, admired by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her compassionate care as a nurse and her passion for helping others.
Andrea is survived by her devoted husband, Chad, who stood by her side through thick and thin, offering unwavering love and support. The memory of her loving nature and joyful spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends and colleagues. She also leaves behind her children, Brice (Leah) Cooper of Wilmington, Brant (Kimberly Tucker) Cooper of Hillsboro, Bria (Carl) Ewing of Columbus, Brian (Emma Horick) Brown of Hillsboro, Chase Williamson of Hillsboro, Tori (Natalie) Williamson of Monterey, Calif. and Rhen Williamson of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; and brothers, Kenny (Sue) Boatman of Hillsboro, Gary Boatman of Hillsboro and Carl Roller of Nashville, Tenn.
Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Dana Garrison.
Friends may call Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 from 4-8 p.m. at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene located at 8230 US 50, Hillsboro 45133.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Andrea Lynn Williamson will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle nature and unwavering dedication to those in need. May her legacy of love and compassion continue to inspire us all.
