Amy Lynette Brandum (nee Smith), 50, passed away July 22, 2022 at her home in Woodlawn, Tenn.

She was born Jan. 29, 1972.

Amy had degrees from McClain High School, Berea College, Western Carolina University and Eastern Kentucky University. A former special education teacher, she was also an artist known for her paintings, weavings and jewelry.

She is survived by her parents, Charles and Christine Smith of Greenfield; her three sons, Wyatt, Colton and Chase Wheeler of Woodlawn, Tenn.; her husband, William T. Brandum; and mother in-law, Phyllis Blake.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made to a local animal shelter.
