Amy Louise Davidson, 71, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 at home with her loved ones next to her.
She was born Jan. 6, 1950 in Dayton, daughter of the late William “Bill” and Ruth (St. John) Frauenknecht.
On Oct. 25, 1968 in Goshen, she married Ronald Davidson, who survives.
A graduate of Little Miami High School, class of 1968, she studied at Arlington Baptist College and was a member of Wilmington Baptist Church. A production manager for Thorton Landscaping in Maineville for approximately 10 years, she was also a piano instructor in Wilmington for many years, retiring in 2012. She loved playing piano and working in her flower gardens.
In addition to her husband, other surviving family members are her daughter, Kim (Dwayne) Bloom of Wilmington; son, Dwight (Kari) Davidson of Granville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her grandson, Darius McClain Bloom.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 at noon at the Wilmington Baptist Church, 2873 S. U.S. 68, Wilmington with Pastor Jim Rankin officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the church on Tuesday, Aug. 24. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
