Amber Rose McAllister-Burnett, 39, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at home peacefully surrounded by her family.

She was born April 2, 1982 in Muskegon, Mich.

A 1999 Wilmington High School graduate,  Amber had attended the Wilmington Church of Christ, Faith Family Church and Faith Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Surviving are her beloved husband, James Burnett; father, Tim P. (Tina) Lones of Belle Center; mother, Brenda Rose (Andy) Bixby of Blanchester; son, Benjamin Grant McAllister; daughter, Lyla Rose McAllister; three sisters, Candace (Brent) Beck of Loveland, Heidi (Justin) Horst of Lebanon and Kyla (Jeff) Burton of Morrow; brother, Zachary (Teresa) Lones of Bentonville, Alaska; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Dolly Rose of Fruitport, Mich.; paternal grandparents, Clifford and Janet Lones of Muskegon, Mich.; step-siblings, Gina Powelson of Utah, Jordan Parrish of Wilmington and Devan Zuber of Lima; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amber was preceded in death by her brother, Isaac Lones.
 
A celebration of Amber's life will be held Saturday, Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. at the Wilmington Church of Christ, 909 West Locust Street, Wilmington with her uncle, Pastor Bruce Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. The family will receive Amber's friends Friday, Aug. 6, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at the church. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Contributions in Amber's memory may be made to the Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45177 or the Ben & Lyla future's fund, to assist them with their college, etc., c/o the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
