Alma Sword, 92, of Wilmington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Dec. 10, 1925 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Abraham and Sarah Moore Ferris
Alma was a member of Villars Chapel and the Blanchester Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Sherman) Storer of Clarksville; granddaughter, Dana (Joe) Siler of Blanchester; grandson, Darren (Stephanie) Rienhart of Waynesville; great-grandchildren, Nora, Ethan and Maggie Rienhart; and great-grandchildren, Emily and Lydia Siler, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Barnes; second husband, Leonard Sword; one brother; and six sisters.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Weible officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, 10-11 a.m.
