GREENFIELD – Grow Greater Greenfield (G3) and Y-Gradale are excited to announce Tunes & Stews, a community fundraising event set to take place on Saturday, April 5 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the McClain High School cafetorium. This event will offer a delicious selection of soups, chilis and mac-n-cheese, while raising funds for the McClain High School Auditorium Renovation Project.

The evening will feature a friendly cooking competition, where participants can showcase their best soups, chili or mac-n-cheese in hopes of winning the top prize. A special kids-only mac-n-cheese challenge will allow young chefs to get in on the fun as well. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample and vote for their favorites by dropping extra change into contestants jars – every cent or dollar counts toward choosing the People’s Choice Winner and raising more funds for the auditorium project.

The cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children 3-12; and no charge for children 2 or younger.

In addition to the cooking competition, the McClain Performing Arts Boosters will be hosting a bake sale during the event to support their upcoming trip to Disney World.

• After enjoying Tunes & Stews, head over to the McClain High School auditorium for the high school musical, "Disney’s Descendants." Tickets will be available for purchase at the door the day of the performance.

• Community members are encouraged to enter their best soup, chili or mac-n-cheese recipe into the competition. Entry forms are available at Small Town Fitness or by emailing greenfieldfit@gmail.com.
