Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Feb. 17 

A resident of the 8100 block of South Lane reported fraud.

A resident of the 11000 block of state Route 124 reported harassment. This incident remains under investigation.

Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Pausch Road after a report of a motor vehicle crash. After investigation, it was determined George E. Mootispaw, 34, of Greenfield was operating a 2011 Silverado which left the roadway striking a utility pole. Mootispaw was charged with failure to control, leaving the scene of an accident and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A resident of the 10000 block of North Union Road reported the theft of firearms. This incident remains under investigation.
