A Greenfield woman has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of gross sexual imposition.

Kaleigh Easter, 23, was charged via bill of information Aug. 27 and waived prosecution by indictment, pleading guilty to the charge before Highland County Common Pleas Court Judge Rocky Coss.

The bill of information, which contained the third-degree felony charge of gross sexual imposition, alleged that “on or about the period of June 1-Oct. 1, 2022, and in Highland County, Easter did have sexual contact” with a victim or did “cause the victim and another victim to have sexual contact.” The victim was “less than 13 years of age,” the bill of information alleged.

Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Easter to 54 months in prison, with no jail time credit. Easter will also be classified as a tier II sex offender. Tier II sex offenders are ordered to register every 180 days for 25 years.

Easter was admitted into the Ohio Reformatory for Women on Sept. 3, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.
