Greenfield police chief alleges unauthorized computer access; city manager seeks investigation

The Highland County Press

During the Monday, June 3 Greenfield Village Council meeting, Greenfield Police Chief Jimmy Oyer alleged that someone had unauthorized access to the police department's computer network.

On Tuesday, June 4, Greenfield City Manager Todd Wilkin said the village is investigating the matter.

"We have reached out to our LEEDs contact, and he informed us we do not have any violations that he could confirm," Wilkin said.

"He could not confirm that we had any unauthorized access. We have requested, and are waiting on a report for all accesses and log-ins to our server."

According to the city manager, the investigation is ongoing.
