Greenfield PD, HC Task Force arrest two in fentanyl bust

On March 28, the Greenfield Police Department along with the Highland County Task Force served a search warrant at 645 McKell Avenue in Greenfield. The warrant was the result of an investigation into fentanyl trafficking in the Greenfield area which investigators found largely centered around 645 McKell Ave.

Officers were assisted by the Paint Creek Joint Fire and EMS due to hazards of the drug. The Highland County dog wardens were called to assist with dogs at the residence. As a result, investigators seized approximately 60 grams of fentanyl and approximately $6,000 cash.

Arrested were Daryl Bumgarner, 34, and Hope Rowland, 25, both of 645 McKell Avenue, Greenfield.

Both suspects are charged with possession of fentanyl, a felony of the first degree. Bond has been set at $1,000,000 for each and arraignment is set for Friday, March 31 at Highland County Court in Greenfield.
