Business vandalized multiple times in Hillsboro uptown historic district
The Highland County Press
For the second time in less than one month, a business in Hillsboro historic uptown district has been vandalized.
On Nov. 16, The Highland County Press contacted the Hillsboro Mayor Justin Harsha, Safety and Service Director Brianna Abbott and Police Chief Eric Daniels and Highland County Prosecutor Anneka Collins regarding the initial incidents last month.
The city replied only that there is an investigation.
The prosecutor replied that her office has not been contacted.
This week, another apparent act of vandalism occurred at the same business.
If anyone has any information on these incidents, call the Hillsboro Police Department at (937) 393-3411.
Not only one being vandalized.
This South High business is not the only place in town suffering from repeated window vandalism. Someone who does not care how much each window costs to have them replaced, is obvious doing it. They need caught. They need to play for every single red cent of the window replacements. Windows have to be measured. Windows have to be ordered. Takes time to get the windows once ordered. Takes time to have the windows installed. And all of that takes money. Money that deserves replaced!
