Louise Davis, 96, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023.

She was born April 8, 1927 in Highland County, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Lewis) Morris Sr.

Louise married the love of her life, Leo Davis, on Oct. 16, 1948. She was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ, was an amazing babysitter for several years and enjoyed baking and cooking.

Louise is survived by her by two sons, Roger (Bethanie) Davis of Tipp City and Steven (Elaine) Davis of Moorefield, W.Va..; two daughters, Shirley Bryant of Blanchester and Janet (Joel) Shultz of Wilmington; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, siblings, Franklin (Dorothy) Morris of Florida, Freddie (Elaine) Morris of Hillsboro, Richard (Joyce) Morris of Hillsboro and Marie Tucker of Wilmington; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Davis, on Dec. 12, 2014; grandson, Eric Harrington; siblings, Virgil Morris, Frances Davis, Margaret Creamer, Charlotte Holt and John Morris Jr.; and sons-in-law, Lanny Bryant and Jim Williams.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 3, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Barnes Cemetery.

Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Donations can be made to the Allensburg Church of Christ or to the Hospice of Middletown.

Louise was my children's babysitter almost 40 years ago. They loved her and her Boston Creme Pie. I have never been able to make one as good. RIP Louise!

the picture is so like her can't make service still working on house we really appreciated her
coming to Susan's visitation her birthday will be July 6 our prayers are with your family
