Lady Indians tennis sweeps Washington

The Hillsboro Lady Indians tennis team gained a Frontier Athletic Conference victory Tuesday night, traveling to Fayette County and defeating the Washington Lady Blue Lions by a 5-0 score, sweeping all five events played.

First singles was dominated by Scarlett Studebaker, winning by scores of 6-1, 6-1. The same can be said for second singles, as Aly Johnson won at 6-2, 6-0. The domination continued in third singles with Jenna Hart winning at 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles action, the first doubles team of Kallie Sharp and Keyle Johnson won at 6-2, 6-0. The second doubles team of Willow Becker and Adalyn Gaines won by scores of 6-2, 6-0.
