Lady Indians score 12 goals in win at Wilmington; HHS boys soccer ties Hurricane
Going on the road for non-conference games Monday (Sept. 25), the Hillsboro Lady Indians defeated Wilmington, 12-0, and the HHS boys team tied the host Hurricane with a 2-2 score.
For HHS in the girls game, Kobie Miles had four unassisted goals for Hillsboro, while Liz Sowders finished with two goals, with assists from Gracie Thoroman and Taylor Thoroman.
Taylor Thoroman also scored two goals for Hillsboro, with Addy Miles having an assist.
Gracie Thoroman added a goal, as she was assisted by Kobie Miles. Addy Miles scored an unassisted goal, and Peighton Bledsoe also had a goal that was unassisted.
Ramsey Haines finished the Lady Indians’ scoring with a goal that was assisted by Bledsoe.
In the boys game, Hillsboro had a goal scored by Ryan Howland (with the assists by Wesley Bailey), and Bailey also had a goal that was assisted by Isaac Brandyberry.
Both Hillsboro teams will host Jackson on Tuesday night in FAC action at HHS.
